Kings FM is a privately owned radio station wholly owned by Kings Broadcasting Service Limited. The company was conceptualised in 2007, but officially started in 2010. The company was established with the principal objectives of providing professional broadcasting services.
Kings Fm Radio went on air on 13th June 2014 on 104.3 Mhz FM (Stereo), Covering about 94% of Njombe region area. The full programming officialy started on 24 October 2014 with education, social & entertainment programs covering about 95% of its on-air repertoire. Kings FM believes that , no FM Radio Station in the Sothern Highlands zone area offers the same rich reportoire of programming, extensive reach and coverage for 24hours.
Kings Broadcasting Service Limited is a locally 100% owned Tanzania company that brings together professionals and experts with a total of over 50 years experince. In their professional lives, the 3 Directors are presently contributing to Nation building in their different career pursuits as business and public sector leaders. Is a CHAIRMAN and Managing Director of Kings Broadcasting Service Limited. Mr. Mwanyika is a corporate Laywer with over 20 years of legal practice in Corporate Law. He is presently a Vice President of African Barric Gold and sits on the Board in Tanzania, South Africa and in UK where ABG is quoted on the stock Exchange. He is responsible for managing the Government Relations, Community Relations, and Communications functions for the organization.
Dr. Norman Adamson Sigalla
is a Director of Kings Broadcasting Service Limited. Dr. Sigalla is an Associate Professor of Education and Chairman of a Pan African Educational Organization. He’s also a President of African Network of Elections Observers and Peace Builders International (ANEOPI), Dr. Sigalla is presently Distric Commissioner of Mbeya Town in Mbeya region. As well, he is a published author of several motivational books and a public motivational speaker.
Dr. Ponziano Mponzi
Is a Director of Kings Broadcasting Service Limited. He is also a Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Projects Operations and Contracts Management with overall responsibility in Acquisitions, Growth and Sustainability of the projects for M/s SF Group of Companies. Dr. Mponzi has a vast international exposure and a wealth of experience in heading finance, Project Management and has a long Management experience at executive management levels. He has worked for various reputable and successful multinational companies, NGOs and Diplomatic Mission in Tanzania, Kenya and United Kingdom Like AKO Catering Services Ltd Providing catering services to various multinational companies, feeding approximately more than 65,000 people per day. He is also a Certified Corporate Director by the Commonwealth in Good Governance since 2003.

The Open University of Tanzania was established by an Act of Parliament No. 17 of 1992. The Act became operational on 1st March, 1993 by publication of Notice No. 55 in the official gazette. The First Chancellor was officially installed in a full ceremony on 19th January, 1994. Wajerumani walifika Tanganyika ili kutawala, waliunda kikundi cha watu kilichofanya kazi ya Polisi.
Vita kuu ya kwanza ikiendelea Ulaya na Afrika, kundi la Maafisa 31 (NCO) kutoka Afrika Kusini wakiwa na silaha (Rifle) walifika Tanganyika kufanya kazi za Polisi.
Tarehe 25 August 1919 Serikali ya Kiingereza ilitangaza katika Gazeti la Serikali No.Vol.1 No.21-2583 kuwa Jeshi la Polisi Tanganyika limeanzishwa rasmi. Makao Makuu ya Jeshi hilo yalikuwa Wilayani Lushoto chini ya uongozi wa Major S.T DAVIS.
Kundi lingine la Wakaguzi kutoka Ulaya lilifika nchini Tanganyika kuanzisha shule ya Mafunzo ya Polisi huko Morogoro.
Kituo cha kwanza rasmi cha Polisi nchini kilifunguliwa huko Lupa Tingatinga kwenye machimbo ya dhahabu Chunya.
Makao Makuu ya Polisi yalihamishwa kutoka Lushoto kuja Dar es Salaam.
Motorized Company sasa Field Force Unit (F.F.U) kilianzishwa nchini kurejesha amani penye vurugu.

Askari wa Polisi wa Kikie (Women Police) walijiunga na Jeshi la Polisi chini ya uongozi wa Miss. Payee.
Tarehe 9 Desemba, 1961 Tanganyika ilipata uhuru wake. Baada ya uhuru, Jeshi la Polisi lilianza kubadili mwelekeo toka katika kutumikia Wakoloni na Walengwa wakawa ni Wananchi kwa mujibu wa sera za Serikali ya Wananchi.
