Due to presence of a good number of Zanzibaris in Scandinavia, and for the purpose of helping our country-mates in Zanzibar, while supporting the initiatives of the Zanzibar President’s Office in charge of Diaspora affairs, there is a need to form an association that will remind Zanzibari Diaspora in Scandinavia of the need to support their country- Zanzibar, as well as strengthening their unity wherever they might be.

About Zanzibar Diaspora
The Department of International Cooperation has been accorded an additional mandates of Coordinating Diaspora affairs with view to engaging them in socio – economic development of Zanzibar.Diaspora Unit has housed within the Department of International Cooperation, in the office of The President and Chairman of Revolutionary Council. The Department is headed by Deputy Principal Secretary (dealing with International Cooperation and coordination of Zanzibar Diaspora) assistance by Director.
The Department of International Cooperation has been accorded an additional mandates of Coordinating Diaspora affairs with view to engaging them in socio – economic development of Zanzibar.In terms of structure The Department is divided into three desks. Desk one deals with Regional integration with spearfish interest in East African Community. Desk 2 deals with Regional integration focusing in Southern African Development Community (SADC) and desk 3 deals with International Affairs and Indian Ocean Rim for Regional Cooperation.
To be an Office that facilitates the engagement of Zanzibaris living in Diaspora, who will ultimately be part of Zanzibar development Stakeholders, devoted for socio-economic development.
To act as a bridge between the government of Zanzibar and Zanzibaris living in Diaspora, and preparing a Conducive environment for their effective engagement in socio-economic development of Zanzibar.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND ZANZIBAR DIASPORA.
The Department of International Cooperation and Coordination of Zanzibar Diaspora has been mandated to undertake the following responsibilities.
1. To facilitate the sectoral experts to participate to the Country’s Consultative meetings.
2. To Coordinate and participate in regional integration meetings (be it EAC, SADC and Indian Ocean Rims) within and outside the Country.
3. To Coordinate the Zanzibaris living in Diaspora with their Homeland, so that they can effectively be engaged in Zanzibar socio-economic development.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE SO FAR.?
Since its inception, a part from doing the daily’s routine works of participating in regional integration meetings, the Department among others has managed to achieve the following.
a) Formulation of Zanzibar Diaspora Strategic Plan, which has come up with a number of activities to be implemented during the next four Zanzibar Diaspora.
b) Formulation of Zanzibar Diaspora Advisory Committee which has down participants from strategic sectors.
c) Formation of Diaspora Coordinating Committee.
d) Zanzibar Diaspora Strategy.
ZANZIBAR DIASPORA ASSOCIATIONS WITH WHICH WE HAVE CONTACTS.
So far, the Department is in Contact with the following Association.
• ZAWA UK which is based in London, United Kingdom.
• ZACANADIA which is based in Toronto Canada.
• Zanzibar Scandinavian Diaspora Association which is based in Copenhagen Denmark.
• Strengthening the ties with the current associations, and keen to find new ones.
• Organizing meetings with Zanzibaris in the Country of their Residence.
• The Department is keen to know, the population of Zanzibaris in Diaspora, areas of concentration, their skills and professions and other necessary information.

Shirika la Redio la Uturuki na Televisheni (TRT) lilianzishwa tarehe 1 Mei mwaka 1964 kwa lengo la kutangaza matangazo ya redio na televisheni kwa niaba ya serikali, na utu wa uhuru wa kisheria na sheria maalum. Kwa marekebisho ya kikatiba mwaka 1972, taasisi hiyo ilifafanuliwa kama biashara “inayotokana na serikali”.
Mwaka wa 1984, Sheria ya Redio na Televisheni ya Uturuki ilirekebishwa upya kulingana na masharti ya Katiba ya 1982. Tangu 1986 kuwepo kwa vyombo vyingi kupitia satellite Uturuki, umeipa TRT changa moto za kushindana na wengine hadi 1990.
Pamoja na marekebisho wa msuada nambari 133 wa Katiba ya mwaka 1993, uhuru wa TRT ulirejeshwa, wakati huo huo uhuru redio na televisheni binafsi ziliendelea kurusha matangazo yao. Leo TRT hutumikia kama mtangazaji wa huduma za umma ambazo zinatangaza kupitia redio na televisheni.
Kabla ya kuundwa TRT, matangazo yalikuwa yakirushwa na shirika la Türk Telsiz Telefon A.Ş. Baada ya kiytuo cha redio cha İstanbul kilichoanzishwa mwaka 26 Mei 1927, redio ya Ankara ilianza na yenyewwe matangazo mwaka 1936. Vituo vyote hivyo viwili viliwekwa mikononi mwa PTT tarehe 8 Septemba 1936. Redio ya Ankara ilipewa umuhimu na kuzinduliwa rasmi tarehe 28 Oktoba 1938. Kituo cha Istanbul kilichokuwa kimesitisha kwa mda matangazo yake kilirejea tena mnamo Novemba 1949.
Wakati wa vita vikuu vya pili vya dunia, vituo vingi viliundwa. Redio ya İzmir ilianza kazi mwaka 1950 na ilikuwa ikirusha matangazo kwenye manispaa ya İzmir.
Mnamo mwaka 1960, vituo 8 vya redio kwenye manispaa vilizinduliwa. Kulingana na katiba ya 1961, ambayo inasema kuwa vituo vya habari lazima viwe binafsi lakini vitanagze matangazo yanohimiza uzalishaji kiuchumi, mswada huu ulipelekea vitu vingi kuanzishwa. Trt iliendelea na yenyewe na matangazo yake kulingana na sheria namba 359 ya mwaka 1964, japo kuwa kulikuwa uzinduzi wa vitu binafsi.
Mwaka 1974, TRT 1, TRT 2, na TRT 3 zilizinduliwa na kuanza kushirikiana kwenye matanagzo yao, wakirusha habari kutoka kituo kikuu cha TRT.
Matangazo ya televisheni yalianza 31 Januari mwaka 1968 na hotuba ya uzinduzi ya Mahmut Tali Öngören kwenye studio na maktaba za Mithatpaşa mjini Ankara, na ikawa hatua ya kwanza ya matangazo ya televisheni nchini Uturuki. Matangazo yalikuwa yakirushwa masaa 3 kwa siku 3 kwa wiki , ikaongezwa mpaka siku 4 kwa wiki baada ya mwaka mmoja. Mwaka 1970, televisheni ya İzmir ilianzishwa, na mwaka 1971 televisheni ya İstanbul ikaanzishwa.
Mwaka 1969 wanasayansi walipoanza kujielekeza kwenye mwezi, mtangazi Zeki Müren alipiptisha tukio hilo kupitia TV. Mwaka 1973 mazishi ya Ismet Inonu, rais wa pili wa Uturuki walitangazwa moja kwa moja. Operesheni za kulinda amani visiwani Cyprus zilitangazwa kuipitia TRT. Uturuki ilishirika mashindano ya Euro vision ya muziki kwa mara ya kwanza mwaka 1975 kupitia TRT. Kwa mara ya kwanza filamu ya zilirekodiwa kupitia TRT mwaka 1979.
Mtangazo ya TV yalikuwa yakirushwa kila siku kuanzia mwaka 1974 na watu takriban milioni 19 walikuwa wakifuata matangazo hao. Matangazo ya Tv ya rangi yalianza kurushwa tarehe 31 Deccemba 1984.
Mwaka 1986, kituo cha pili cha Tv kilianzishwa kwa jina TRT-2. Vipindi vya TRT 1 na TRT 2 viliweza kufikia kila eneo la Uturuki kupitia satalaiti ambayo ilikodishwa kutoka elsntat. TRT 3 na GAP TV zilianzishwa mwwaka 1989. Mwaka 1990, matangazo ya TRT INT kwa wafanyakazi wa kituruki wanaoishi Ulaya yalianzisha na TRT4 . Kituo cha TRT AVRASYA kilikuwa kikirusha vipinda vya watu wa Caucase na Asia ya kati mwaka 1993.
Mwaka 1998, vipindi vya kwanza kutoka nje kama Ujerumani vilianzishwa. Vipindi kama Turkménistan-Achgabat mwaka 1999 vilirushwa, Misri, Ubelgiji mwaka 2000. Kituo cha TRT cha 6 nje ya Utruuki kilianzishwa Marekani, hata Uzbekistan mwaka 2004.
TRT_SAYTEK (Digital Broadcasting Technology Center) iliundwa mwaka 1990 pamoja na tovuti yake ya www.trt.net.tr.
Mwaka 2003 ni mwaka usiosahaulika kwa shirika la TRT na Utruki kwa ujumla , Trt iliweza kujinyakulia tuzo la 48 la Eurovision kupitia wimbo wa Sertap ERENER.
Trt ilianza kutumia na kurusha matangazo kwa lugha tofauti kwenye vipindi kuhusu watoto tarehe 01.01.2009.

Foliekniven.dk started in 2004 in a basement in Frederiksværk. Already in early 2005, we grew out of the premises and moved to new and larger premises in Refsvindinge on Funen. In 2014, the expanded machine park had so much that we had to move the production to the premises next to the property at Refsvindinge Byvej 1. Then office and meeting rooms could take over the rest of Refsvindinge Byvej 3.
Foliekniven.dk has a concept that makes it easy and cheap for companies and private individuals to purchase signs, banners, film texts and stickers. The concept is that you order logos, carved foil texts, stickers and sign plates separately, and so you can mount it yourself. This saves the cost of assembly.
Foliekniven.dk also makes total solutions and solves divorce tasks for both private and business. You can also choose to leave Foliekniven.dk responsible for the entire production and setup. We also collaborate with resellers and advertising agencies across the country.
